Our newest nephew, Andrew, was admitted to Children's Mercy Hospital, with an infection that is causing his shoulder bone to deteriorate. The doctors don't know much yet, as they are still trying to determine what type of infection and what is causing his bone to deteriorate. As I write this, Andrew is in surgery.Dear Lord be with the surgeons and nurses as they care for Andrew. Give strength to Melissa and David as they wait for the results. Wrap your loving arms around our little Andrew to give him comfort and love that only you can give.
